How to access this tool
Drop-in use
Drop into the workshop during our opening hours to use this tool, but ask a technician if you need any training first.
Key information
Yellow tools require further training. Training will be available either in the form of a bookable tool training session, or by dropping into the space and making an arrangement with a technician.
A table saw (also known as bench saw) is a woodworking tool, consisting of a circular saw blade, mounted on an arbour, that is driven by an electric motor.
Material being cut is passed across the table through which the blade protrudes, making precise cuts. The depth and angle of the blade can be adjusted for different types of cuts.
Please note
NEVER REMOVE THE BLADE GUARD.
What can I use this tool for?
The mini table saws are useful for making straight, smooth and accurate cuts in small workpieces and are more precise than other mini saws with circular blades.

What training do I need to use this tool?
To get trained on this tool, drop into the workshop during our opening hours and ask a technician for a tool training. Please note that the availability of training depends on whether a suitably experienced technician is free at the time of your visit. We may ask you to come back at another time.
Once you have completed a tool training, you will be able to drop into our workshop during opening hours to use this tool. Please note that access to this tool depends on whether a suitably trained technician is available at the time of your visit.
