Papermaking Consultation (Online)

This autumn, we wel­come Lon­don-based book artist and paper­maker, Mandy Bran­nan, to our Strat­ford space. Sign up for a 15-minute con­sulta­tion with Mandy to chat through your idea. Then book a longer 1−2−1 in-per­son ses­sion to get hands on and devel­op your pro­ject together.

Since the 90’s, Mandy has developed her exper­i­ment­al paper­mak­ing prac­tice by com­bin­ing both Japan­ese and West­ern paper­mak­ing meth­ods; com­bin­ing tra­di­tion­al bast fibers (gampi and kozo) with leaf fibers (abaca and sis­al) to cre­ate com­plex pat­terns and layers. 

How to book: You will need to register as a mem­ber of the Insti­tute of Mak­ing in order to book this work­shop, which is open to all staff and stu­dents at UCL. Once registered, you can book this work­shop. You will also receive email noti­fic­a­tion of upcom­ing events and news, which you can opt out of at any time.
