Member Masterclass: Scale Model Making (Morning)
Past event
Learn the art of scale model making in this detail-oriented masterclass with modelmaker Maz Weineck.
Discover how architects and designers work across a scope of dimensions, learn their process and gain insight to how they create tiny architectural designs. From drawing and designing at scale, to taking these designs and turning them into 3D objects using card and thin timber, you’ll first create tiny furniture, then zoom out to make larger fragments of buildings.
Maz Weineck is a modelmaker and artist, who's work celebrates architecture and the city in all it's forms. Maz has worked in architecture for over 10 years, including having worked for Stanton Williams, the architects behind the design of UCL Marshgate - the home of our Stratford Workshop.
