Stratford Workshop Test Day

Stratford Workshop Test Day Stratford Workshop Test Day Stratford Workshop Test Day

Friday 08 December 2023 9:45am - 4:30pm

This event takes place in our STRATFORD space. Bookings open on Friday 17th Nov at 12pm.

Book a slot here from Friday 17th Nov at 12pm

We are looking for members to help us test the general workshop facilities of our exciting new Stratford space. Would you like to spend a day on a fun woodworking project surrounded by shiny new tools? Then this is the session for you.

The test day will involve participants making their own chopping board, expertly guided by our technicians, using a variety of tools and machinery in the process. We need participants to spend the whole day with us and, before sending you home with a wonderful handmade chopping board, we will ask the group to come together and to provide feedback on their experience in the space. This will inform the next stage of our Stratford workshop development (rest assured that the Bloomsbury workshop will continue everyday operations as usual).

This session is open to experienced woodworkers as well as complete beginners. Previous experience of using the lower workshop area in our Bloomsbury space is a plus but not a must.

The session will start at 9.45am and finish at 4.30pm, with a break for lunch.
