Come to this year's Festival of Stuff to explore our specially curated display that digs into aluminium’s many accomplishments: see it shine in foil party balloons, feel it insulate in space blankets, marvel at its malleability in sculptors’ armature wire and admire its lightweight strength in dumper truck flooring and aerospace rivets.

At the Festival you will be able to marvel at aluminium’s malleability in a Materials Library-themed aluminium texturing activity. And lastly, experience aluminium’s intense reflectivity for yourself by feeling the hot spot created when infrared radiation is fired at a highly polished aluminium dish.
