Bare Conductive Paint

Material ID: 991

Description

This non-toxic, electrically conductive paint can be applied to almost any surface. It contains particles of carbon that cause the solid paint to conduct electricity when dry. The application of the paint onto surfaces otherwise not conductive enables circuits and wires to be easily incorporated onto and into everyday objects. For example, if you apply two lines of the paint onto a piece of wood and connect one end of the lines to the positive and negative terminals of a battery, and the other ends to the legs of an LED light, the light will be illuminated by the electricity from the battery, traveling down the paint on the surface of the wood.
