Festival of Stuff: Materials Library Drawing Masterclass (Morning)

Join us for a Materials Library-inspired drawing session that invites you to sensorially investigate our extraordinary collection of wondrous materials.
Led by Institute of Making Director, Zoe Laughlin, this two-hour masterclass invites you to explore a characterful and careful selection of materials from our Materials Library shelves through mark-making, observation and sensory play. From quick-fire drawings to descriptive depictions and sketching by touch and feel alone, we’ll reflect on what happens when you shift your ways of looking, handling and interpreting materials.
No previous drawing experience is needed. All drawing materials will be provided but if you have a favourite pen/pencil, feel free to bring it. All welcome - come draw with us!
