Festival of Stuff: Sensors Masterclass

Come along to have a try at making a wearable sensing devise. In this masterclass you will knit or crochet a sample using conductive thread. This will then be programed using an Arduino board to read the resistance in relation to its stretch. Alongside this there will be a whole host of experts showcasing and demonstrating their latest projects using sensors.

Projects will include the Piano Glove (a wearable sensor glove that enables you to play the piano through an android phone) and cutting edge Biomedical Optics Research.
