Jessie Gao is a spatial designer and technician with an interdisciplinary approach to design, research and making. She believes that making and working with materials activates a healthier way of thinking and connecting to each other in a chaotic world. Being curious and experimental is at the heart of Jessie’s practice, because it allows people, other living things and places to thrive and evolve together.
Jessie has studied the MLA Landscape Architecture and Bsc Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies WYA at the Bartlett School of Architecture, and worked in the B-made workshop as a technician. She also worked in a wide range of other practices in landscape, architecture, interior design, video, and installation art around the world.
