A physicist and engineer by training, Guillaume is a science communicator dedicated to making science an accessible part of our shared culture. His previous work ranges from creating a YouTube channel focused on science outreach with an artistic lens, to organizing and hosting science camps at research labs for high school students, to developing educational content for CERN’s new science centre. He holds an MSc (Eng) from ESPCI Paris and a PhD in physics from PSL University. As a scientist, Guillaume is fascinated by soft matter – an interdisciplinary field featuring materials which can’t quite decide whether they’re solid or liquid – and has conducted experimental work with iridescent liquid crystals and temperamental active biofluids. He loves museums and is curious about everything.
