Members Masterclass: Afternoon session - Sugar Glass
Monday 16 February 2015 2:00pm - 4:30pm
Join designer and gastronomer Fernando Laposse to explore sugar, as a material which can be moulded, slip-cast, welded, fused and even blown. This brittle transparent material is often used as a replica to glass, as it convincingly shatters just like glass. You have to work quickly; as it cools it will soften and lose it’s brittle qualities.
