In this experimental dyeing masterclass, Samantha Russell from Tens Studio will teach participants how to dip fabric into an indigo dye vat without aerating it, and investigate the invisible histories of natural indigo as a material that is closely linked to both slavery and cultural expression.

Member Masterclass: Altering Denim

This masterclass focuses on a much-loved, hard-wearing fabric: denim! Together with expert seamstress Ayat Salimane, participants will learn how to adjust jeans and other denim items by adding in darts, sewing flat seams, and upcycling.
