Institute of Making

Ian Lowe and Richard Pace are blacksmiths from Stepney City Farm. They are setting up their mobile forge at the Institute of Making for one day only. They will run three hot iron working sessions with three groups of 10 people. With fewer than 1000 registered blacksmiths in the UK, this is a rare opportunity to heat, hammer, quench and fettle some metal. Pictures can be found on their Facebook page.
