Members Masterclass: Sand casting with silver
Sand casting metal is one of the earliest and simplest ways to work metal. This accessible technique offers a unique insight into the fundamentals of fine silversmithing. During this masterclass you will learn how to pack the sand into frames, to take moulds using the sand and to heat silver to a liquid state before being poured.

Maker in Residence – Jeremy Atkinson
For a whole week traditional clog maker Jeremy Atkinson will be in the Makespace. Jeremy comes from a long line of clog makers and is one of the sole remaining traditional hand carvers making bespoke clogs in England.
