Public Event: Copper Spoon Making

Join the Institute of Making team to make a spoon from copper pipe.
This event is to support and inspire entrants of the challenge to design and make a new implement, tool or device for eating. During this session we will hammer, shape, form and bend copper to make a spoon from a single piece of copper pipe.
The brief is to design and prototype a new implement, tool or device for eating. This might involve rethinking the form, shape or materials of tools we are accustomed to, or encourage new cultural practices surrounding the act of eating. This is your chance to test and prototype ideas, explore materials and get hands-on.
