Milliner, and one of our members, Sahar Freemantle, will be running a hat making day for women who have undergone hair loss (for example cancer patients and alopecia sufferers). Sahar hand crafts each hat to create original and unique headpieces which combine both traditional millenary techniques with modernised avant garde vision. On the day there will be a wealth of milliners on hand to help your idea come to life, including Katherine Ferdinand, who is also helping in the organisation of this event, and is well-known for her beautiful and elegant, feminine floral creations. 

'Hat Over Heels' will be day of fun, beauty, empowerment, femininity and creativity. With the aid of professional milliners participants can make their own hat or headpiece of which they can take away and wear with pride!

It will be held on 5th April at the Institute of Making, UCL, London.
