If you need to send something digitally, for example a video, please send this to: events@instituteofmaking.org.uk
We would like to encourage a variety of entries from different disciplines so we are not specifying the format of the submission.
You can submit any physical prototypes, sketches, drawings, graphics, final prototypes or even the working object.

We will be judging the submission on:
- The originality of the idea
- Showing your thinking and process in an engaging way
- Quality of workmanship (physical object, graphics, film and documentation)
- Challenging assumptions of what an eating utensil is
- Delight and engagement of the judges

Entry form: Each entry should be submitted with an entry form (see here)

The judging panel will look through all of the entries and will inform entrants by the end of August of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and who’s work will be shown in the exhibition.

Awards and exhibition: All entrants will be welcome to attend the awards evening on 16th September 6:30 - 8:30pm, which will be hosted at The Worshipful Company of Cutlers. Tickets to this evening might be limited to 2 tickets per entrant. These will be available early September.

The exhibition will open the following day on 17th September.
