Festival of Stuff

The Festival of Stuff runs from 23rd June to the 27th June, consisting of four days of bookable masterclasses and culminating in an extravaganza of materials and making. 
The bookable masterclasses will include; basket weaving, metal and plastic tape plating, paper cord weaving, shaker box making, pyrotechnic display, glass whistle making and much more.  A full list of masterclasses will be published by the end of May and tickets will be avaialbe from the first week in June, dates to be confirmed. 

The festival will end with a large open day, bigger than any ever before taking over the whole street outside of the Institute of Making. We will be bringing back some of our favourite activities from throughout the year and some new discoveries including; basket weaving, cyanotype printing, sugru throwing, yellow road making painting, teeth cleaning, copper bowl hammering, copper spoon making to name a few.
